Park
One park. Three men. Three Benches and yet not enough space for all. Manav Kaul's "Park" delves into the complicated relationship of humans with space. Who has the better right on the space? The ones who need it for convenience or the ones who have a history associated or the ones who actually occupy it now? Why are men ready to wage wars for a mere piece of land? Is it a matter of power, history, pride or just plain greed?
Through the lens of the park, Manav Kaul offers a commentary on the human condition, prompting the audience to reflect on their own lives and relationships.
Aavirbhaav Naatya Manch presents a play that takes place in a seemingly ordinary setting – a PARK – but transcends the mundane as it delves into the complexities of the characters' lives.

I Wasn't Born Confused!!
"I Wasn’t Born Confused" is a humorous exploration of why many young people today feel uncertain about marriage. It delves into how past conditioning—shaped by parents, family, and societal influences—plays a pivotal role in creating this confusion. Through the relatable journeys of Aarya, Khushi, and Tanvi, the play captures the experiences of modern youth who are either hesitant about marriage or conflicted about the decision.
The story humorously portrays Aarya's dilemmas as he navigates meetings with two potential matches for marriage. Armed with a compatibility checklist (yes, you’ll hear about it often in the play!), he attempts to assess every possible factor. The situation becomes increasingly chaotic as family involvement complicates matters, leading him to the brink of losing both women despite multiple meetings. Through candid conversations with a friend, Aarya begins to reflect on his approach, sparking moments of introspection and revelation.
The play cleverly unpacks the numerous compatibility factors that preoccupy today’s young adults when contemplating marriage. It examines how societal conditioning shapes these factors, creating hurdles in decision-making. The challenges of dual-career dynamics, personal ambitions, mutual expectations, and the pressure to secure a "perfect" future further complicate matters. Adding to this complexity is the role of family interventions. The play raises essential questions: How can one unlearn societal norms to build genuine, nurturing relationships? And how does one rediscover that love—often overlooked—is the most vital ingredient in marriage?
