I had already began sketching potential stage design possibilities – It has been a delightful journey for me to recreate the magic of Malgudi for the stage. Transforming R.K.Narayan’s words to stage visuals has been the most challenging aspect for me as a director. I have attempted to couple stage craft and movement to bring to life the characters of Malgudi in its many landscapes. My special thanks to Manasi Subramaniam for adapting the book into a stage script. I am thankful to everyone who has supported me in making this performance possible.
