Bhoomija presents Abhishek Raghuram and Anantha R Krishnan – a voyage of sound and silence

               “For as long as I can remember!”, says Abhishek, when asked since when he has been singing. Same answer from Anantha R Krishnan on since when he has been playing Mridangam. And both of them have always been up for challenges.  On 23 Jun (8 PM, Jagriti Theatre, Whitefield), they team up to bring us an evening of pure melody and pure sound. In perfect harmony. It will be a first and an absolute pleasure to hear Abhishek with just the Tanpura and Mridangam. It will be a first for the duo to bring some creative rhythms into play — with Abhishek also picking up the Khanjira.

“Expect a lot of Carnatic music. That will be the theme”, says Abhishek. So we will!
