About the Venue

How do I reach Jagriti?
Jagriti Theatre is located inside Jagriti Renaissance Apartments on Varthur Road. Please use the gate closest to the entrance to Palm Meadows to enter. You can get directions via Google Maps. Please note that Google Maps may route you inside Palm Meadows, but please use the red gate next to the Exit Gate from Palm Meadows.

Is there parking available?
Yes we have limited parking available for two wheelers and four wheelers

Is there Air Conditioning inside?
The theatre is air conditioned at the time of the show. The common areas and offices are not air conditioned.

Is it wheelchair accessible?
Yes we have wheelchair ramps at the entrance, to the seats inside, as well as to the restrooms

How do I support/contribute to Jagriti?

Do you have a restaurant or cafe at Jagriti?

We have the Theatre Cafe inside Jagriti and the Lyfe: Farm to Fork Restaurant & Pizzeria next door.

What kind of shows happen at Jagriti?
Jagriti is a Performance Arts space dedicated to Theatre, Music, Dance and Comedy.

Can I have a private show at Jagriti?
Please email programming@jagrititheatre.com with the details of your show and we'll get back to you.

How do I book tickets for the show?
Tickets for shows at Jagriti are available on BookMyShow as well as at our Box Office. The Box Office is open from 10:30 am to 5:30 pm, Tuesday to Sunday.

How do I find out if tickets are available?

How do I find out the language/age limit/duration of the show?

Do I need to pick up printed tickets at the venue if I’ve booked online?
No, you don’t need to. You can show the BookMyShow ticket at the door when you arrive for the show. If you’ve booked tickets at our Box Office, please bring the printed ticket with you.

I booked tickets for a show but can’t make it. Can I get a refund or use the same ticket for a different show?
No, we do not allow cancellations, transfers, or refunds.

I wasn’t allowed in because I was late. Can I get a refund or use the same ticket for a different show?

I booked multiple tickets but some people couldn’t make it. Can I get a partial refund or the same tickets for a different show?
No, we do not allow cancellations, transfers, or refunds.

Is there a dress code?
There is no dress code

Can I bring food and drinks inside to watch the show?
You may bring a bottle of water, but other drinks and snacks are not allowed.

Can I get updates about upcoming shows?
You can sign up for our email newsletter. Just enter your email address in the text box at the bottom of the screen. You can find us on social media @jagrititheatre. We also have WhatsApp Broadcast list. Please save 7406966190 and then send us a message on WhatsApp with the text - 'Broadcast List'

I want to book the auditorium. How do I know if it’s available?

How many stages are available?
We have the indoor space, which is the main auditorium that seats 200 and an outdoor stage, Lumbini which seats 60.

What is the seating capacity?
The main theatre has 200 seats. The outdoor venue, Lumbini, has informal seating for 60.

I want to be an actor. How do I join your theatre group?
Jagriti doesn’t have an in-house theatre group. We cast for plays on a need basis. If you sign up for our email newsletter by entering your email address in the text box below, you’ll be informed if any auditions are announced.

Jagriti does not have an in-house group of actors and is not affiliated with any casting agencies.

Do you have classes or workshops for adults?

Do you have classes or workshops for children?

Do you have summer camps or weekend activities for children?

Do you provide any certifications for students?

Do you have classes for all the Trinity exams?
We don’t have classes for all the exams. The students of the Theatre Arts Program are eligible to take the exams which are recommended by their instructors.

Do I need to take classes at Jagriti to take the Trinity exams?
No. You can register with us only for the exams.

Do you conduct workshops and trainings for companies and corporations?
Yes we do. You can email programming@jagrititheatre.com to make an enquiry

Do you provide acting teachers for schools?
