Gagan Damama Bajyo: The Legend of Bhagat Singh, written by Piyush Mishra and directed by Riyaz Usman with original music by Alok Kesarwani, is a musical drama based on real incidents taken from the life of freedom fighter Bhagat Singh and his contemporaries. It follows the events from the year of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre in 1919 to his hanging, along with Raj Guru and Sukhdev, in 1931. Far from wanting to cause any bloodshed or violence, his decision to throw a bomb in the assembly was motivated by the desire to draw attention to the questions of freedom and equality. They frolic about the stage amid the rest of the commotion. One of the admirers, a girl, notes with horror that the leader has no head. The announcer points out that he has no need for a head since he possesses genius. Krapp’s last tape is short play written by Samuel Beckett in 1958 about a writer who has recorded his thought and views of his life on audio tape every year since he was twenty four. He has stored and numbered each tape and keeps them locked in a desk at home.
