Synopsis – Beyond the Bubble

In the distant future, humankind lives in isolated bubbles that dot the surface of the planet. In the Cloud Monastery, a group of young warrior-monks are instructed by their guides to reconstruct life in the early 21st century and try to understand what went wrong. Why did New Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru all come apart at the seams? Was it just one disaster after the next? What was life really like back then, in the big cities? And will all the training and studying of ancient history help with a more immediate problem – how to defend the planet from being overrun by cybernetic rabbits?

Beyond the Bubble is a fun-filled, mischievous and action packed story for all ages. It addresses the burning issues of our times – attitudes towards gender in our country, unplanned urbanisation and its effect on the environment, and the way we respond to disaster. Tongue in cheek, Beyond the Bubble provokes the next generation to tackle the problems the present generation is busy doing nothing about.
