Sometimes, the way life unravels is a mystery that many may not understand, so is the tale of Mukundo. An effeminate man with hopes and dreams to perform and showcase his talent as an actor finally gets the opportunity but…what role does he play?

Set in West Bengal in the 20th century, Mukundo faces backlash from his father, a respected zamindar, Bijon Kumar, for ruining his reputation in society. However, there is a secret, a prophecy that Mukundo’s parents know will eventually lead them to a societal doom.
Having completed 5 shows within India in cities such as Mumbai, Pune and Bangalore where it received immense praise by theatre stalwarts like Rakesh Bedi and Prithvi Zutshi, Kirdaar is an immersive bilingual theatric experience with an original script, story and musical compositions.
It uses traditional methods from folk theatre such as folk music and dance, comic relief and dramatic action to elevate the story.
