One Night in Paris is a 60 minute cabaret performed by Kirtana Kumar.
Inspired by the old school Weimar cabarets, where artists sang, danced and spoke to the audience in an intimate space, Kirtana re-interprets cabaret for today.
She plays a middle aged Indian woman, in love with Jim Morrison and The Doors,who goes to Paris to find Jim’s grave. She means to go to Pere Lachaise but ends up elsewhere. What unfolds via a stranger,a janitor and somegraveyard capers, is a tale of the great Bangalore love of rock, sex, adventure and….happy endings.
