Ek Actor Ki Maut is a play about two actors, Akshay and Ira, who develop a bond while rehearsing for a charity show. Akshay is a struggling actor who has been following Ira, an established superstar's career for 40 years. He invites her to star in a theatre play, but Ira is reluctant because it's an amateur group. However, she finally agrees to do the play, which helps her understand her love for theatre. The play showcases the journey of Akshay and Ira preparing for their play and the emotions that they go through during this time. As they share aspects of their lives, an unknown emotion develops. The play discusses the debate of films vs theatre and how these two similar art forms have such a distinct nature. Some artists believe theatre to be a true form of performance art, while movies with a few exceptions are mostly pseudo-art. In theatre too, some directors are more concerned with grand sets, props, and just their actors screaming out their dialogues, while some believe that actors can communicate a lot through their silences. It is a balanced conversation of ‘modern vs traditional’ and ‘idealism vs realism’.Read More

This dance presentation, Colours of Krishna is a kaleidoscope of hues & emotions, a symphony of shades & symbolism, meticulously woven through the realms of mythology & human experience, traversing through the sublime landscapes of devotion, love, playfulness & transcendence. In the grand tapestry of mortal existence, Krishna assumes multifarious roles —an adorable son, a playful child, a cherished friend, the ultimate saviour & protector, a true guide & mentor, a divine charioteer and an eternal lover. Each anecdote, be it his frolicsome dalliances with gopis or his childhood playfulness in stealing butter, melodious strains of his enchanting flute and his eternal love for Radha, serve as a poignant allegory, reminding us of the universality of love, humility, righteousness & devotion.
