Charandas Chor
Charandas Chor is a classic penned by one of the modern greats of Indian theatre, Mr. Habib Tanveer ji. This play is about a thief named Charandas. Charandas in spite of being a thief is an honest, sympathetic and truthful person who lives by his words . The theme and the characters of the play reveal and depict paradoxes and contradictions of the society and challenges the collective conscience of human nature in a humorous way. Charandas, the so-called hero or anti hero in the play, is what the audience needs to decide. A thought to ponder upon!

EQUUS
EQUUS is the latin word for ‘Horse’. It is an english psychological drama written in 1973, based on a real incident. EQUUS revolves around the investigation of Alan’s upbringing, a 17-year-old boy, who in a night of ferocious passion ends up stabbing and blinding the eyes of 6 horses. The boy is being treated by a child psychiatrist, Martin Dysart, who is made to face his own demons during the process. He questions the concept of "Normalcy"" and the need of "Worship". With successive sessions, Dysart begins to envy Alan, whose life is entirely controlled by his passion, wherein it is learnt that Alan had religious, emotional and sexual attraction for horses.
The re-imagining of this play delves into the concept of 'Shadow Self' as coined by Carl Jung, and makes extensive use of Shadow Theatre.

The Odd Couple
Ready to laugh till your sides hurt? Don’t miss Neil Simon’s The Odd Couple, the Tony Award-winning comedy that's as brash and outrageous as it is heartwarming. This hilarious play famously brought to life by Oscar-winning legends Walter Matthau and Jack Lemmon, hits Bangalore on Nov 15, 16 & 17 for a three-night run.
Here’s the scoop: When a slob like Oscar and a neat freak like Felix decide to live together after their marriages hit the rocks, the result is a wildly mismatched, laugh-out-loud oddball duo. From poker nights that spiral into chaos to hilariously disastrous double dates with the giggly Pigeon sisters, this play turns everyday life into a non-stop rollercoaster of comedic mayhem.
Critics have called The Odd Couple a “masterclass in humor,” where tension, laughter, and dirty laundry fly in every direction. Whether you’re a fan of sharp wit or irresistible characters, this show is your ticket to an evening of feel-good fun with a side of wild unpredictability.
Get ready to fall for the chaos—this one’s guaranteed to sell out!

Kalakriti 2024 - Silent Resonances
A lot happens to us in daily life. From household chores to paying bills, things make us happy, excited, sad, disturbed. Sometimes we convey our thoughts vocally and react to situations. Sometimes we don't. We just express ourselves. We express ourselves through the tacit tunes of our lonely words, cells, tissues, skins, bones, most importantly our expressions.
Ekalavya Performing Arts and Picture Wicture Productions with their non-verbal act, SILENT RESONANCES, will portray similar melodies of life, expressive but vocal ,through unspoken words.
