DAAG revolves around Bindiya, a tailor, who wants to get established and lead a lavish life. She earns her livelihood by stitching clothes for ladies. But she has lofty dreams of making it big in life. Reality strikes a different note. Her customers either short-change her or impose tough deadlines. Either way she is in a tight spot.

The play ends with questions about our ecosystem. Are those in its upper layer bound to exploit the ones in the lower? How strong is the impact of getting exploited?

Set in 18th-century Hindustan, the story unfolds in a small princely state and centers around an ancient temple, its high priest Somdev, and his patron deity—the demon king Kumbh. This is no ordinary demon, but one who governs the state through Somdev's dreams, subtly guiding its rulers, demanding human sacrifices as penance, and maintaining control through fear and prophecy.

But what happens when this demon suddenly stops appearing in the priest's dreams?

How does one govern a state when divine instructions fall silent— especially in a time when the looming threat of war with the Company government hangs over the valley?

Caught between devotion and delusion, Mithyasur follows the journey of Somdev as he seeks answers-not only about the state's future, but also about his own faith, authority, and truth. A small family from a rural village boards a train bound for a hopefully better tomorrow. But migration changes the child faster than it changes the parent and gaps begin to form. Papa Painter is born from these gaps. Set in the 1990s India of ration cards and PCO booths, of Doordarshan and Shaktimaan, of cycle bells and Bajaj scooters, Papa Painter is an intimate exploration of the many stages in a father–son relationship.

A young teacher, assigned as a tutor to this boy, works to help him while navigating the challenges of the boy’s upbringing, his actions, and the potential for change. The play explores the conditions for constructing adolescent masculinity and explores the haunting question of whether true rehabilitation is possible. In this process the play examines the tension between personal responsibility and external influences, such as upbringing, trauma, and societal neglect.

With sharp dialogue and an intense, thought-provoking storyline, Darinda challenges audiences to consider their own perceptions of crime, punishment, and redemption.

Yogi vs Bhogi is a free adaptation of the 7th-century play, Bhagavadajjukam (Sanskrit, ‘bhagavat’ - hermit; ‘ajjuka’ - harlot), also known in English as The Ascetic and The Courtesan. One of the oldest surviving plays in Sanskrit literature, it is a fine example of a `prahasana`, or farce. Layered in witty exchanges about dharma, it is centered around the transmigration of souls between the two titular characters leading to confusion and chaos for the supporting characters who have no answer to the absurdity of it all.

Through this retelling in English, Mahesh Dattani, plays around with the idea of gender: its expression, perception, spectrum and the exploration of what one truly is with a confrontation of stereotypes using humour and catharsis. Infused with Yakshagana, the play comes alive when the classic Sanskrit text and the physicality of theatre gels seamlessly with the traditional dance theatre form from coastal Karnataka.
